My dream organisation..

Everyone has their beliefs in their own leadership, believes in their own methodologies...

Well i keep dreaming about running my own organization and leading it ways i want. Well unfortunately, my insights to leading the organization usually comes from books or from bad experiences with my leaders, and my success at implementing of the same - i got no methodology to measure
So the following (which will probably get edited pretty often) , i hope helps people who be leading me to understand me better, and for those who will be looking to me for guidance- i hope it tells you why i want you to work with me

  • I need goals, clear cut goals , aims and time lines - i think the team has no purpose without them
  • It needs to have the ability to speak up to its leader and the leader should learn to implement suggestions and explain ones he thinks are not good enough. If he cant convince the the team that the suggestion made will do more harm than good, he has to listen to the team. However on a very strong feeling of being right, he should stick to his instinct n try to garner support- perseverance rules
  • The leader should be transparent about opportunities and dealings and the members of the team should all be at the same level
  • All members of the team should speak at meetings when an important decision is pending
  • The leader should try to get to know every team member properly and encourage the same within the team itself
  • The team should be open to change- i hate age old customs and traditions and i should be allowed to break free
  • Aiming high.. really high.. no problem is big enough such that innovation cant solve
  • Peer learning.. there are loads of things i can learn form my team... make the members complement each others talents
  • Every member of the team has his own set of assets and liabilities, you have to accept a member for his assets and liabilities and try to use them both to great use(say when u want a delay in a project- u know where to go)
  • The leader shouldnt try to be a hero, but a mentor and a friend
  • Optimism- very important to me.. the moment you start complaining about petty things i get ticked off.. its all in your hands
  • I can lose my temper quickly, i want my team to understand that and help me overcome my problem...I am definitely trying to maintain a level head
  • Acknowledge receipt of mails and messages and stick to deadlines and be ready to apologize for mistakes
  • Make up for a colleagues' sloppiness and instead of complaining about it, go ahead and help him out, either by completing the task or by helping him complete it- its an onus on the team
  • Trust... trust people with jobs .. the person trusted of course should respond with goods
  • willing to take calculated risks...
